Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced that he will go to Gaza with the entire Palestinian leadership delegation, stating that “there is no solution left.” Addressing to UN, Abbas said, “I want to express that after Gaza, I will head towards Jerusalem.

Addressing the Turkish Grand National Assembly in Ankara on August 15, the Palestinian President said, “We have no solution left. The best solution we can make today for the Palestinian people is that I have decided to go to Gaza with all our brothers in the Palestinian leadership. I will do this.”

Abbas said, “We want to give this message to everyone. Even if the cost is our lives, my life, our lives are not more valuable than the life of a child in Gaza. We are implementing the rule of Islam. Either victory or martyrdom.”

Abbas, who was applauded both upon entering the Turkish Grand National Assembly and after his speech, was again given a standing ovation in the assembly after these words.

Abbas said, “I call on all Arab and Islamic country leaders and UN officials to fulfill this humanitarian duty together. We say let’s do this if our goal is peace and stability for everyone, to end hostility and eliminate the reasons for occupation.”

Abbas said, “I address the UN General Assembly, which has made 80 unenforced decisions. I also want to express that after Gaza, God willing, we will head to Jerusalem. I will also go to our eternal capital.”
